The Map

This map contains approximately 1,500 street portraits collected from the island of Manhattan. The portraits are separated into the neighborhoods from which they were gathered. I’ve also included casual, non-academic descriptions of these neighborhoods. These are not to be taken seriously. The big red dots denote “Points of Interest” such as parks and museums. These are clickable. There are also nearly 50 stories of people I’ve met during my journey. These stories seem to be concentrated in the public parks. The map is constantly evolving, and new portraits will be added as they are collected. That’s about it. Click away.
